Regal Botanica is the Sole Agent and Distributor for Sheng Chang Pharmaceutical Co. which is one of the largest and most respected Chinese medicine manufacturers in Taiwan.

• Sheng Chang Pharmaceutical Co. was established in 1946, one of the earliest manufacturers of Concentrated Chinese herbal medicine with factory in operation since 1966. (Compare this to SunTen which built their factory in 1974, and Ko Da with their first factory in 1982.)
• Sheng Chang is the No. 1 exporter of Chinese herbal medicine to Japan.

Significant Milestones for Sheng Chang Pharmaceutical Co.

• 1975 Awarded Medicinal Importation Permit from Japan’s Ministry of Welfare.
• 1986 Sheng Chang became the first manufacturer to comply with GMP Manufacturing Standard in Taiwan.
• 1994 Passed GMP audit by Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
• 2001 Recognized by Taiwan’s Department of Health as exclusive supplier for Liu Wei Di Huang Wan (Rehmannia Six Formula) which are to be used in Clinical Trials.
• 2002 Received the Prize of National Medical Technology Research and Development for CMC (Chemical, Manufacture and Control) of Liu Wei Di Huang Wan (Rehmannia Six Formula).
• 2003 The fingerprinting platform of Si Wu Tang (DangGui Four Combination) and its derivative formulae, won the Prize of National Medical Technology Research and Development.
• 2004 Sheng Chang again won “The fingerprinting platform of Chinese herbal formulae” of National Medical Technology Research and Development, and became the only GMP manufacturer to win this prestigious Prize for three consecutive years.
• 2006 Received certification of ISO 9001:2000 international standard quality management system.
• 2008 Received TAF ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory certification.  Received accreditation certificate of foreign drug manufacturer from Japan’s Ministry of Health Labour and Welfare.
• 2010 Received TFDA Drug Cosmetic Certification.
• 2011 Passed both TAF and TFDA on-site evaluation.
• 2012 Received TFDA Food Hygiene Inspection Agency Certification.  
• 2013 Received accreditation certificate of foreign drug manufacturer from Japan’s Ministry of Health Labour and Welfare.
• 2018 Passed the PIC/S GMP Certification from Japan PMDA.
